A little about me

I’m Sydney.

Born and raised in Indianapolis, IN! I graduated from college with a business degree focused in Human Resources, which is what I did for 4 whole years before going full time with photography. I love being around family and friends, music, fancy cocktails, lake days, ice cream, our dog, Joey, thrifting, podcasts, comfy clothes, and Jesus.

A wife.

I am a wife of 5 years to my high school sweetheart, Daniel. He really is the love of my life and a huge reason why I love what I do. Being together nearly half of our lifetime, we truly have been together through it all. We love traveling the world and eating good food. A few of our favorite places: Charleston, SC, Ireland, Mackinac Island, MI, Park City, UT and Iceland.

A mother.

Becoming a mother was something I had always dreamed of. We welcomed our little girl, Hollis, in 2023 and it has taught me more about myself and life than I could have ever imagined. I thank Jesus daily for giving us such a beautiful angel who has taught me patience and grace in the sweetest ways.

A photographer.

Photography has always been a part of my life as a way to freeze time and relive those moments over and over again. I always have my film camera with me as I feel it best represents a simple moment in time. With over 100 weddings under my belt, I am still striving to learn and grow in every possible way.
